It's almost time for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! to return to screens, meaning fans can soon watch their favourite stars consume questionable foods and complete gruelling trials.
A fresh batch of celebrities will be ditching their lavish lifestyles for the bugs and dirt of the Australian jungle in the latest edition of the much-loved ITV series. Last year, former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle much to the delight of fans at home.
But who will be crowned this year? The real line-up has yet to be confirmed but there have been rumours of Strictly stars, Netflix actors and 00s singer joining the cast. There is currently no release date for I'm A Celeb but the ITV programme usually airs in November every year before concluding in December.
There have been many stars, including retired artistic gymnast Max Whitlock, have shared their desire to take part in the show. Here's everything we know about the rumoured line-up so far...
Giovanni Pernice
Giovanni Pernice had a turbulent year with the BBC investigation that started because of former dance partner Amanda Abbington's complaints about his behaviour in the training sessions of Strictly Come Dancing. This week, six allegations out of 17 into Giovanni's conduct with Amanda were upheld. The BBC investigation found he had "verbally bullied and harassed" Amanda, while he was cleared of "physical aggression".
Some of the upheld complaints were for Giovanni, 34, using swear words, with the report saying his language could be "belittling" and agreeing that at times, his feedback could be overly negative. Another upheld complaint was of how he grabbed his crotch and uttered a lewd remark and also told his dance partner that he "wants to f**k her". However, a source close to Giovanni claimed: "This was all done in jest and perceived in this way by Amanda. They were intended as jokes and compliments of her dancing style. Her language could be just as course back."
Following the investigation, sources said that Giovanni "wants to focus on other TV projects". Those projects could include a place in the jungle on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! "With I'm A Celeb round the corner, Giovanni would be a dream signing for producers, especially now he's looking for new opportunities and a way to hopefully show audiences he's a good guy," a source told the Daily Mail.
Coleen Rooney
Coleen Rooney is reportedly set for a sensational TV return, having reportedly inked a deal to spill the beans on ITV's hit show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Insiders suggest that Coleen's appearance fee could eclipse the sums paid to big names like Caitlyn Jenner and even the whopping £1.5million shelled out for Nigel Farage.
ITV chiefs are said to be crossing their fingers in the hope that Coleen, 38, will dish the dirt on her hubby Wayne Rooney, the Manchester United and Everton icon, not to mention giving the lowdown on the notorious Wagatha Christie scandal involving Rebekah Vardy. The Liverpool lass is due to jet off to Australia next month, ready to brave the infamous Bushtucker Trials and battle it out for stars to feed her fellow campmates.
"I'm A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup getting Coleen for the jungle this year and the team are thrilled to have her on board," an insider revealed to The Sun on Sunday. It's understood that Coleen and her boys are avid watchers of the show, eagerly tuning in each year to witness a host of celebs ditch their plush pads for the rugged Aussie wilderness.
"Coleen has a huge fanbase and she won massive plaudits for her classy handling of the Wagatha Christie case. She's excited to show fans a different side to her and prove she can survive without her creature comforts," an insider revealed to the media. The bosses are confident that the former TV star will be a hit with the audience and outshine Rebekah Vardy once again.
In other news, a telly insider spilled to the Sunday Mirror: "She's in the jungle and she's going to set the record straight on Wagatha. This is a major coup For ITV. The kids are growing up now. The time is right for Coleen. She's got the potential to go all the way and win this."
Mick McCarthy
Former Republic of Ireland manager and captain Mick McCarthy has been rumoured to be among those appearing on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here later this year.
The likes of Ian Wright, David Ginola, Wayne Bridge and Jimmy Bullard have all appeared on I’m A Celeb in the past. Former England midfielder Jill Scott and Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp came away as winners of their respective seasons in 2022 and 2017 respectively.
McCarthy has been out of work since departing Blackpool in 2023, so he could be joining a slew of big names in the Australian jungle.
Jane Moore
Loose Women star Jane Moore could be packing her bags in preparation for the jungle, with reports claiming she has been in 'advanced talks' about joining the show. An insider told Mail Online: "She's been separated from Gary [her former celebrity agent husband] now for two years and it's about time she set herself a new goal, to really experience what she's made of.
"It's been a transformative few years for Jane and doing the show, which will be completely out of her comfort zone, is something she's really looking forward to."
Tulisa Contostavlos
Last month, it was reported that former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos is preparing to make a big return to the world of mainstream showbiz and appear on this year's series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
It's thought the self-proclaimed Female Boss, 36, is ready to make a big TV comeback in the wake of her band N-Dubz successfully selling out a UK tour last year. It's reported ITV are keen to get Tulisa to sign on for a stint Down Under in a bid to appeal to a younger audience, who have discovered the singer via TikTok.
"Crucially for ITV, the breadth of her career means that she will appeal to I'm a Celebrity's wide audience," the source said to The Sun. "As well as everyone knowing her from The X Factor, her original music fanbase has boomed thanks to the N-Dubz reunion tour. TV bosses are particularly excited by the new wealth of fans in the crucial 16 to 24 age range who have discovered Tulisa and the band through TikTok and everyone hopes the deal is signed soon."
Harry Clark
Earlier this year, we revealed Harry Clark has been hit with many TV offers since appearing on The Traitors. ITV bosses approached him earlier this year to see if he would be interested in a stint in the jungle.
Harry reportedly thought about quitting his job to cash in on his reality TV success. One source revealed: “The Traitors was so huge this year and since they left, the finalists’ feet have barely touched the ground. All of them have been swamped and, as the winner, Harry has been at the centre of the whirlwind.
“Since the win, he has been approached by casting directors from ITV who want him to appear in the jungle this year. He would be a great get for them and he is seriously considering saying yes – it would be a really incredible opportunity.”
Richard Arnold
Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold previously teased joining the show in December 2023. After returning from Australia, he was asked by former host Ben Shephard: "One or two hints about you entering the jungle. Are you going into the jungle?"
Richard quipped: "Well it was mentioned, wasn't it. It was flagged up on the show. You'd love nothing more than to see the back of me for another few weeks." A clip then played of Ant and Dec asking Richard to be a campmate in the 2024 series of I'm A Celebrity. Dec said: "If you fancy spending next year's birthday in Australia, we'll keep a bed for you." Ant added: "Or a hammock..." Dec joked: "You know you'd love it."
Max Whitlock
Last month, it was reported that retired artistic gymnast Max Whitlock, 31, has met with those behind the ITV show and talks are "ongoing," though the line-up has yet to be announced. Max has previously shared that he's a "big fan" of it.
He would be the latest sports champion to take part in the show, following in the footsteps of former campmates like Tony Bellew, Jill Scott, Matty Lee and Kadeena Cox, who have all competed on the show in recent years. Professional footballer Jill even won I'm A Celeb in 2022, whilst Tony was runner-up last year.
A source told The Sun: "Max has met with the I'm A Celebrity bookers and talks are ongoing. He is a huge fan of the show and has been keen to take part for years." They added that it was the first time ITV had "invited him to meet" and that it was thought he could be a "brilliant" campmate.
