One of the X-Men's most powerful enemies (and occasional team member) is Cain Marko, whogained incredible strength and magical armor after he found the mystical Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, turning him into the powerful avatar of an other-dimensional being known as the unstoppable Juggernaut, who first appeared in 1965'sX-Men #1.

Juggernaut has appearedwith Marvel's mutant team inquite a few of theirlive-action and animated adaptations, though the character hasrarely been explored in much depth beyond his overwhelming strength and familial connection to Professor Xavier,which fans are hoping future takes on the character will develop further.

10 The Super Hero Squad Show (2009)

Cartoon Network'sThe Super Hero Squad Showreimagined Marvel's heroes and villains into inhabitants of a split megapolis known as Super Hero City and Villainville, with Doctor Doom and his Lethal Legion opposing the Super Hero Squad.

Juggernaut (voiced by Tom Kenny)appeared in a couple of episodes and was shown to be strong enough to stand up to the power of Thor and Hulk, though the kid-friendly nature of the series didn't really allow the Juggernaut to shine.

9 Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends (1981)

Iceman and Firestar starred alongside the friendly neighborhood hero inSpider-Man And His Amazing Friends during the 80s, which told the origins of the titular stars over individual episodes including "A Firestar Is Born" that explored newly created Angelica Jones' Firestar origins with the X-Men.

While Magneto appeared in the flashback portions of the episode, Juggernaut (voiced by Willaim H. Marshall) appeared at the X-Men's reunion in search of his step-brother Professor Xavier, and he appeared in his original pants-less uniform from his debut appearance.

8 Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers (2014)

There have been a few anime adaptations of Marvel characters over the years, though 2014'sMarvel DISK Wars: The Avengers took a different approach as the majority of Marvel's heroes and villains were trapped in identity disks that could be activated by players who were linked to the disks.

Juggernaut (voiced byShota Yamamoto) was used to take on some of the Avengers as they attempted to discover new disks, though when the Hulk was activated he was able to stop the unstoppable, though Juggernaut's armor would be used in battle later by Loki.

The X-Men's first starring role in an animated series came in 1989's TV pilotPryde of the X-Men, which featured the same roster of the X-Men that would later appear in the successful arcade game, though the animated series was canceled along with Marvel's other animatedprojects at the time.

Juggernaut (voiced by Ron Gans) was a member of Magneto's "Brotherhood of Mutant Terrorists," despite the character (a non-mutant in the comics) having never worked with the team before in the comics.

Vinnie Jones portrayed theJuggernaut in2006's X-Men: The Last Standin the character's first live-action appearanceas a new member of Magneto's Brotherhood, though not much is explained beyond a quick rundownaboard a government prison transportthat made the character a mutant.

Juggernaut's mystical origins were abandoned along with most of the character's costume, and his familial connection to Xavier was also absent from the portrayal, though they managed to work a popular internet saying into the character's dialogue.

5 Wolverine And The X-Men (2009)

2009 saw a new take on the X-Men as Wolverine gathered a new team together inWolverine And The X-Men to try and stop a series of events that could lead to a dark future, though with only one season the series wasn't able to fully explore this premise as planned.

Juggernaut (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) only appeared in a couple of episodes workingfor Magneto and battling the X-Men, which definitely showcased his powerful abilitiesthough failed to further develop the character of Cain Marko.

4 Deadpool 2 (2018)

One of the most powerful versions of the character seen outside of the comics was the Juggernaut that appeared in2018'sDeadpool 2, which was a fully computer-generated character that was voiced by franchise star Ryan Reynolds, who also did some of the facial motion capture work.

3 Ultimate Spider-Man (2012)

While DisneyXD'sUltimate Spider-Man didn't fully explore the character or touch on his connections to the X-Men over his various appearances, it still featured a fun and powerful version of Juggernaut (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) that touched on his unique relationship with theweb-head.

Spider-Man and Juggernaut have faced off against each other quite a few times over the years, and while this version of the character featured his classic comic uniform, his powers seemed to be derived from his armor.

2 X-Men: Evolution (2000)

2000'sX-Men: Evolution introduced a wildly different take on the X-Men that reimagined the team as high school heroes, which made thevarious alterations to Juggernaut (voiced by Paul Dobson) seemslight in comparison.

This version of the character is Professor Xavier's half-brother instead of his step-brother and his abilities stem from a dormant mutant gene that was awakened by mysticism, but the rest of the character was fairly faithful to the comics and his relationship with Xavier well-explored.

1 X-Men: The Animated Series (1992)/Fantastic Four (1994)

One of the best adaptations of the character and likely the most recognized by fansof Saturday morning cartoons appeared inX-Men: The Animated Seriesduring the 90s, which featured Juggernaut (voiced by Rick Bennett) as the character sought revenge against his step-brother Xavier.

The character also had a brief cameo in the 1994Fantastic Four animated series episode "Nightmare in Green," which featured his easily identifiable hand as it emerged from the waters of the New York harbor.
